Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandana to collaborate again

Vijay Deverakonda is a rage in South and has proved his mettle in a short span of time. With back-to-back hits like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy, Vijay has turned out to be one of the most bankable stars in Tollywood. With Dear Comrade, Vijay along with Rashmika Mandanna is all set to take the industry by storm. This is their second film together. Apart from impressing everyone with his acting chops, Vjay operates a separate successful business. Vijay launched a clothing brand by the name of Rowdy Wear last year and he has got a massive response for the same.

Rowdy Wear is a male clothing line and a latest report suggests that Vijay is planning to include female wear in his brand too. And if the rumours are to be believed, Deveraonda is planning to approach his Geetha Govindam co-star to be the brand ambassador for the same. There has been no official confirmation about the same, but buzz suggests that the actress is excited to be an ambassador for Vijay’s clothing line. If the said deal works out, this would mark yet collaboration of the two, but not for a film.

Talking about their film, Dear Comrade, it is said to be an intense romantic drama. When the theatrical trailer of the film dropped on the net a few days ago, it received a thunderous response from all quarters. The sizzling chemistry and lip-lock between the lead pair turned out to be a major highlight of the trailer. The music of Dear Comrade is given by Justin Prabhakaran, who has done a fantastic job.

Meanwhile, a report suggests that Sai Pallavi was initially approached to play the female lead in Dear Comrade. But the actress rejected the film because of the intense kissing scene with the actor. It is being said that, Sai took the decision soon after hearing the script. Apparently, the actress was not comfortable in enacting the kissing scene and opted out of the Dear Comrade and so, Rashmika Mandanna was roped in for the part.
