The truth about the amount paid by Tamannaah Bhatia for her new sea-facing apartment in Mumbai

Less than a month ago, a report about Tamannaah Bhatia paying double the price for a lavish apartment had got everyone talking. It was being said that the Baahubali star had purchased a flat for Rs 80, 778 per sqft in Versova, which was twice the ongoing rate in the same area. Prices of properties nearly 500 meters away from Tamannaah’s building were worth between Rs. 30,000- 40,000 per sqft, as per a report.

However, in a recent interview, the actress denied the report. Reporter has now tweeted the documented proof of the facts mentioned in his earlier report.

When Tamannaah Bhatia was asked about the earlier report, she was amused at the development which surfaced online last month. The Khamoshi actress had told, “Now what do I say to something like that.” Recollecting how her Hindi teacher dropped a text after reading this piece of news, Tamannaah had added, “I told him, I’m Sindhi, how can I pay double the price for an apartment?”

That being said, the actress asserted that her professor had tweeted on her behalf. “After a while, it became embarrassing as people kept asking about it. I have bought a house, but I did not pay double for it. My parents and I will move into it once the house is ready. I just want it to be a simple, artistic house with an earthy look,” Tamannaah Bhatia told.

Besides that, Tamannaah also spilled beans about her next project, Bole Chudiyan, wherein she stars with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She said, “I was looking for a challenging role and as soon as I heard this story, I knew that I had to be a part of it. Also, it’s an opportunity to collaborate with an actor like Nawaz. Ours is a socially relevant film but without being preachy. Most women will be able to connect with my character.”

For the ones who aren’t aware, Bole Chudiyan goes on floors in Rajasthan soon while Tamannaah Bhatia will join the cast and crew in August.
