Sunny Leone is ‘Sorry’ to the Delhi man whose number was unintentionally let out in Arjun Patiala

A Delhi man named Puneet Agarwal received 300 calls ever since Arjun Patiala featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma, hit the silver screens. The man had sleepless nights all because of the ‘fictional’ number that Sunny Leone gave out in the special song she did with Diljit Dosanjh for Arjun Patiala. And in an amusing turn of events, people actually thought it was Sunny Leone’s real number and dialled it a couple of times thinking the actress would answer their calls. Turns out, the number belonged to Puneet from Delhi who got calls at odd hours from both men and women.

Petrified of this harassment, the man filed a complaint with the Maurya Encalve police and also claimed that he would sue Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan for the harassment that he faced. The ones who wanted to have lewd conversations also tried video calling and hurled abuses at Puneet as he did not comply.

“On July 26, after the release of the movie, I started receiving calls from unknown people asking me to let them talk to Sunny Leone. Initially, I thought somebody is playing a prank on me, but after a while, I got to know that the makers of the movie have actually used my number and Sunny Leone’s character in the movie dictates my number. I am being harassed by many callers, people are abusing me and asking me to do dirty favours. I have filed a police complaint but till now the police has not taken any action even after giving me assurances,” Puneet was quoted as saying in a statement.

Meanwhile, On Friday when Sunny Leone was informed about this incident by Zoom, the actress replied, “Sorry. I didn’t mean it to happen that to you. Must be some really interesting people calling (laughs).” We guess Puneet would reconsider his decision as the actress herself has sent out an apology to him.

As for Sunny, she is currently gearing up for the release of her next, Coca Cola, which is a horror-comedy. Leone stars alongside Bigg Boss fame Mandana Karimi in the film by Prasad Tatikeni.
