Street Dancer 3D: Varun Dhawan – Shraddha Kapoor’s film just got bigger

Varun Dhawan – Shraddha Kapoor’s Street Dancer 3D is turning out to be one of the biggest projects in Bollywood. Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have been spotted at dance rehearsals of late and now the reason is out. Shraddha, in fact was prepping all through as she shot for Saaho’s last leg in Austria with Prabhas. As per a report, 10 teams from across the globe have arrived in Mumbai for the final schedule of Street Dancer 3D. The shoot had started in June. A source told, “It’s a 25-day schedule with back-to-back performances and will go on till the month-end. Varun, Shraddha, Prabhudheva and Nora (Fatehi) have rehearsed for almost a month for this act. It is being choreographed by Suresh Mukund.” As we know, Mukund if the front man of the Kings United India Group that won the World of Dance competition. Varun Dhawan has extended his congratulations to them after the victory.

The teams are coming from places like the United Kingdom, Germany, Africa and Nepal. Remo D Souza’s ABCD2 has based on the journey of Suresh Mukund and his dance troupe that rose to dizzying heights of fame from humble beginnings. The Kings United team has a special appearance in Street Dancer 3D. The source further told, “The climax is where the high point of the story takes place, and it is being shot keeping the 3D sensibilities in mind.” The shoot is happening at a Malad studio.

It seems the set-up is quite huge. The source added, “The special 3D set-up is of a live stage show with thousands of fans supporting their respective countries. The film’s premise has a nationalistic element that showcases the Indian team as underdogs who stand tall in front of the rest of the world.” The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Remo D’Souza’s wife Lizelle D’souza. He told the paper, “We are so glad that Street Dancer 3D has gone global and many artistes from across continents are a part of the finale act. The set looks spectacular and the actors have been rehearsing and shooting in the rain to complete the schedule on time.”

The film is coming out on the Republic Day week in 2020. It will clash with Ashwini Iyer Tiwary’s Panga at the box office. It has been shot in Dubai, London and Punjab.
