Singam 3 was to originally release on December 16, but considering the dolomitisation crisis, the makers decided to push the release ahead to December 23rd. But the horrific Vardah cyclone caused them to postpone the release yet again. The makers finally decided to release on 26th January. And yet again, the pro-Jallikattu protests caused the makers to delay the release for the third time. The film will now finally hit theatres on Feb 9.  Singam 2 may have received mediocre reviews, but it turned out be one of SurIya’s biggest grossers. Let’s see if Singam 3 will strike gold as well. In other news Suriya is currently shooting for ThannaSerndhnaKootam with Vignesh. The film is set against the backdrop of a rural village. Keerthy Suresh will star opposite Suriya for the first time.
