In such a short period of time, actress Shraddha Srinath has established herself as one of the popular stars in the south industry. The actress, who was first seen in Tamil and Telugu film U Turn, recently made her Bollywood debut with Tigmanshu Dhulia’s directorial venture Milan Talkies, which featured Ali Fazal in the lead role. The actor is now busy in promoting her film Jersey, which has hit the screens today and stars Nani as the lead protagonist. In one of the recent promotional events, the actress surprised everyone, when she chose Nani over Kannada star Yash, who became a rage after KGF.
When Shraddha was asked to choose between Nani and Yash, she said, “As a star, I have worked with Nani. Hence, I would choose him over Yash. But, Yash has also worked hard to achieve this stardom. I know how he struggled as a television actor before moving to films. He’s showcased the potential of Kannada films to the entire world.” She further justified her statement and said, “I have met Yash only once. I do not know him well as a person. And that’s why I would choose Nani.”
When asked, which industry she likes the most among Tollywood and Sandalwood, she said, “I like all the industries. I treat work professionally. Hence, I wouldn’t choose between them. I wouldn’t like to choose one industry and lose my fans.”
Talking about her film Jersey, the film is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and also stars Sathyaraj, Brahmaji and Ronit Kamra in key roles. It is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under his production banner Sithara Entertainments.
