After the Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan now shoots for the song Tu Desh Mera which is a tribute to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack. SRK shot for a 4-minute sequence in the song which will talk about the sacrifices our soldiers did for the nation and the Pulwama attack. Taking time out from his traveling schedule, Shah Rukh Khan shot for the song at an uptown studio in Mumbai and has finished his portions. According to a report, Shah Rukh Khan will be the third Bollywood celebrity to feature in the song which will be a tribute to the CRPF soldiers.
Speaking about it, Abhishek Mitra, MD of Happy Productions said, “To say that we were excited by the prospect of Shah Rukh Khan joining us for the video is an understatement. He was travelling that week and was quite busy. We are grateful that he took out the time to shoot for the video. We shot Shah Rukh’s part of the video at the Mehboob Studios in Mumbai after midnight.” SRK, who hasn’t signed any film after Zero, has taken time out for Tu Desh Mera and said that he feels very glad to be part of it as a tribute.
Shah Rukh Khan has also been shooting for few brands but hasn’t signed any film since Zero. Speaking about it, SRK recently said that he wants to enjoy the un-sucess a bit and then get back. Speaking at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), Shah Rukh Khan said, “I just finished the last film I made and to put it lightly, it was a disaster. I said to myself that let me enjoy a little bit of un-success as I had success for so long. So I have taken some time off for next four or five months. As a matter of fact, I’m on these breaks… Coming here (Melbourne) and meeting people, realizing and discovering new stories, doing intellectual speaking.”
