Sharnbasveshwar Residential Composite PU College, Kalaburagi, has performed well in the II PUC examinations conducted between 1 and 18 of March this year. The institution that recorded 94.5 % passing percentage, has seen 206 of its students recording distinction (above 85 %), 487 students passing in First Class (between 60 % and 84 %), 73 students passing in Second Class (between 50 % and 59 %) and only eight students securing less than 49 % of marks.
As many as 22 students have secured 100 marks out of 100 across subjects — 11 in Mathematics, six in Physics, four in Chemistry and one in Electronics. Mukund S. Mainargi has scored 393 marks out of 400 in PCMB, Bhavya Yashraj scored 394 marks out of 400 in PCME, Sonali D. Biradar scored 296 marks out of 300 in PCB, Bhavani S. Balkal scored 299 marks out of 300 in PCM and Srivatsava A. Kulkarni scored 347 marks out of 400 in PCMCS.
Santosh D Hotti topped the school by securing 580 marks out of 600 (96.67 %), followed by Jasminder S. Kaur (577/600), Sonali D. Biradar (577/600) and Vaishnavi A.K. (575/600).
