In the last couple of years, Salman Khan has introduced several new faces in Bollywood under his production banner Salman Khan Films. From Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty to Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, a lot of actors have entered Bollywood, courtesy Salman. After Notebook featuring Zaheer and Pranutan, the Dabangg actor is all set to produce a new film that will feature a known face. The actor in question here is Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star Nushrat Bharucha. If a Mumbai Mirror report is anything to go by, this film will be a wedding drama set in a small town. As of now, the movie is in the casting stage and it will go on floors in the next few months. As per a source close to the tabloid, Raaj Sandhilya, who is helming Nushrat and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl, has come on-board as the dialogue writer for this production by Salman Khan. “It’s a love story set in a small town that revolves around a wedding. The film will go on the floors in the next few months and will be shot in the outskirts of Delhi,” added the source when asked to divulge more details about the film.
That’s an interesting addition to Salman Khan’s list, as a producer. On the acting front, he will be seen in Bharat which is an official adaption of the Korean film, An Ode to My Father. Ali Abbas Zafar, who worked with Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai, has donned the director’s hat for Bharat. The shoot wrapped up recently and the film is set to release on Eid this year. Besides Bharat, Khan has the third installment of his cop-drama, Dabangg, lined up. The actor himself confirmed that Dabangg 3 will go on floors from April 1 and is slated for a December release. Buzz is that Khan’s cop drama might clash with Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra or Arjun Kapoor’s Panipat.
