At the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) the Airport Administration has begun renovation work (lounge).
The work will begin from June 1 and will be held until March 2021. During this period domestic and international corridors will be part of the Transit Hotel and will not be available for travelers.
There are four corridors defending the KIA. Among them are 2 in the International Security Hold area and 2 in the countryside security hold area. The renovation project will be held in 2 stages and will be completed for 18 to 20 months. In the wake of this, the domestic and international corridors will be part of the Transit Hotel from June 1 to March 2021. After the renovation, new lounges will be jointly organized by GATE Group and Travel and Food Sewers India joint venture.
The corridor renewal is being started with the goal of providing the best travel experience at the station for passengers. The airport’s chief commercial officer, R. Kenneth, said the new lounges would provide the best hospitality experience for passengers.
New balconies include Live Cooking, Celebrity Chef Menu, Digital Joan, Library, Spa, Barista Bar, Wine Cellar etc. Long-term travelers, transit passengers bathing facilities, spa facility can be utilized, the KIA said in a statement.
