Kareena Kapoor Khan’s little one Taimur Ali Khan is a national obsession. He is currently in London for a brief family vacation and we are missing him a lot. Meanwhile, Kareena is shuttling between Mumbai and London for her professional commitments. The actress is judging the seventh season of Dance India Dance and for that matter, Bebo has to visit Mumbai, once a week. In the upcoming episodes of this dance reality show, legendary cricketer Kapil Dev will be seen as one of the celebrity guests on DID 7. Also, if a Mumbai Mirror is to be believed then, Kareena got a cricket bat autographed by the cricketer. And the reason behind this is surprising.
On the show, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that she wants her son Taimur Ali Khan to be a cricketer once he grows up. And hence, she took an autographed bat by Kapil Dev to convince her little prince. For the ones unaware, Taimur’s grandfather Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was a cricketer as well. He was the Indian Cricket Team’s captain once upon a time.
Interesting point is that Bebo wants Tim to be a cricketer while Saif Ali Khan thinks Taimur will be interested in acting. In a Hindustan Times interview, Saif had mentioned, “I definitely think all of my children would be interested in acting. We’re an acting family, the whole bunch of us are in the industry. So I’m sure.”
when he appeared on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show, the Sacred Games 2 actor had noted that he is not interested in son’s Bollywood debut. “Everyone I speak to, everybody around thinks that all the kids want to join films and they do. Most of our kids want to do that which is a good thing, a great thing but I don’t know why I am a little concerned about that. I feel there should be other choices…somebody might want to say I want to become a doctor or a lawyer kind of stuff. Maybe I am sounding very old-fashioned but anyway, I am not interested in making his debut in Bollywood and neither is he (laughs),” he had said.
Well, it is too early to talk about Taimur’s acting debut or him becoming cricketer as he is just a three-year-old.
