Kadaram Kondan actor Vikram wants to remake Kamal Haasan film

The trailer of Kadaram Kondan was dropped by the makers and the action-adventure featuring Vikram has left movie buffs stunned. Directed by Rajesh M Selva, Kadaram Kondan also stars Akshara Haasan and Abi Hassan in other lead roles while Vikram is seen in a stylish and action-packed role in the trailer. Kadaram Kondan is produced by Kamal Haasan under his home production Raajkamal Films International jointly with Trident Arts. The trailer was launched in Chennai and the lead cast including Vikram was present at the event. Speaking at the event, Vikram said that he has been a great fan of Kamal Haasan ever since he started watching films and would someday want to feature in a remake of a Kamal Haasan film, if such chance comes. Vikram also revealed which film he would want to remake if ever he gets a chance.

“Whenever people ask me which film I would want to remake, I will always say 16 Vayadhinile and the role of Chappani. It was a beautifully rendered character. He had portrayed the role with so much maturity even in that period,” Vikram was quoted. Vikram further added that it is tough to match the finesse of Kamal’s acting but he would try his best.

Speaking about Kadaram Kondan, Vikram says that the film would be on par with Hollywood films and his character would be very stylish. “Kadaram Kondan will be in Hollywood standard. All of you know that I’ve done a stylish role in Dhruva Natchathiran. And, I’ve also played a stylish role in KK too and it will be very different,” said Vikram at the trailer launch. Kadaram Kondan is slated to be released on July 19th worldwide in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.
