South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Ajay Devgn in a film produced by Boney Kapoor. She won hearts of the classes and masses with her fabulous performance in Mahanati. It was the biopic of the yesteryear star Savitri and people were amazed at how she breathed life into the character. The film is the one based on former Indian football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim. It is being directed by Amit Sharma who made Badhaai Ho and Tevar. Arjun Kapoor welcomed Keerthy with a tweeted. Janhvi Kapoor took to Insta and wrote that she was obsessed with her since she saw Mahanati and was damn excited that she was a part of the project.
Syed Abdul Rahim was regarded as one of the finest coaches in Indian football. He is considered as the modern architect of the game. The national team attained new heights of success in the 1950’s and it is regarded as the golden period of Indian soccer. The film will be shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. He belonged to Hyderabad so it makes sense to have a South Indian actress as Ajay’s leading lady. Keerthy Suresh was also a part of Vijay’s blockbuster, film Sarkar. She is doing one Telugu film as well.
