The High Court has issued notice to the State Government, Regional Commissioners and Members of the petition seeking the disqualification of 34 BBMP members who have not submitted the property.
The unanimous hearing of social activist Anil Kumar Shetty on the petition filed by NG Narender issued notice to all the defendants and adjourned the hearing to July 3.
Petitioner’s Advocates ” BBMP’s Defending Policy Members took office on 11th September 2015. As of October 2015, they all had to submit their property and credit details. According to the information received under the RTI Act, 34 councilors of the BBMP have not provided details of the assets and liabilities of themselves and their family members to the mayor. ”
