And things said and done Malaika Arora’s birthday post for Arjun Kapoor made them Insta-official and how!
Yes, we all knew that that the duo were the newest couple of Bollywood thanks to their recent outings where they walked hand-in-hand but the post was lovely in more ways than one. In fact, they Arjun and Malaika are vacaying in New York, where they ringed in Arjun’s bday, as we speak and the pictures are adorable, to say the least.
Earlier, Arjun Kapoor had confessed that Malaika Arora has ‘his heart (literally)’ and even went on to pull a fashion face-off with the diva after twinned in neon.
In all seriousness, it is not only heartening to see them finally acknowledge each other in public but also do it so unabashedly in the face of criticism/scrutiny about their age gap and thousand other things. In fact, Malaika has even opened up about the thing that attracted her the most about Arjun.
She said, “It’s difficult to find someone who understands you. Arjun understands me. He makes me smile and laugh and he knows me inside out. I guess that just makes everything work.” No wonder they found love in each other.
Recently, in interaction, Malaika had told about finding love again after getting divorced with Arbaaz Khan and said, “When my marriage ended, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heartbroken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship, and this new me gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did.” Talking about her son Arhaan Khan’s reaction to her relationship with Arjun Kapoor, she said, “I believe the best way to approach any situation is with honesty. It’s important to tell your near and dear ones what’s happening in your life and then give them time and space to understand and process things. We have had that conversation and I am so glad that everyone is in a much happier and more honest space today.”
Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in Panipat. It is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, which is one of the most epic battles that took place in 1761 at Panipat.
