For the first time in the country, an online portal has been launched to approve building licenses and blueprints, in Karnataka.
After inaugurating the Urban Development Department’s Land-building Blueprint Approval Software website at the Vidhana Soudha Conference Hall, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said, “Approval of a building’s blueprint is an utmost necessity for urban development. A total number of 14 licenses, including approval for layouts, land conversion etc., can be obtained from the department’s website. The Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) will also be included in the software in future,” said CM Kumaraswamy.
HDK, on the occasion, stated that the Suburban Rail Project will soon be started in the city. He also stated that a new law would be implemented for PGs and Home Stays, to ensure safety of the paying guests.
