Entrepreneurship Conclave was held at BMS Institute of Technology & Management, yelahanka. Panelists from various domains were invited to interact with the students and to answer their queries with respect to Business startup. Sri Gopinath Rao, Dy. Director MSME in his interaction explained about various Central and State Government schemes available for entrepreneurs to provide loan and other facilities. He told students to visit their MSME centre at IISC Bengaluru to collect more information about startups, funding and creative work done by young students and industrialists. Sri Ravi Theja, founder of Unplan said in his Key note address that, student age is the right age to enter the small business and to nurture their ideas. He motivated students with few examples of how to bring small businesses into the e-commerce domain. Later,Sri Naveen P.Senna co-founder of Orbis Edu Services spoke about how one can convert his ideas into workable product or a service. Later Dr.JagadishVengala shared his success stories about mentoring new startups. All the panellists discussed their success stories to motivate the students. Then Principal of BMSITM Dr. Mohan Babu GN said that, current generation of students are more fortunate to get lot of guidance from Incubation Centres, mentors and teachers. He urged students to model solutions for problems surrounding us and to commercialize their ideas to become entrepreneurs and to better utilize the internet to gain more knowledge. He stressed abour 4 key aspects: curiosity, creativity, innovativeness and entrepreneurship. Event continued till the evening.
