The Karnataka Bundh which has been called by various organisations to protest against the farmers, labours and anti-people laws is scheduled to be held in Shivamogga.
Addressing a press conference, Farmer’s Union and “Hasiru Sene” State Hon’ble President H R Basavarajappa has said that the event will be held on September 28 from 6am to 6pm.
“On the Bundh observing day, our activists conduct Motor Cycle Jatha. We appeal to you observe Bundh one day.
There will be a massive Jatha from Bus Stand at 10 am on 28th and leaders of various organisations will participate in the Jatha.” Basavarajppa said the procession would reach the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
Farmer Leader K T Gangadhar said that the ground was being fought for land reform. “This is not an amendment but the complete change of law. It is more dangerous. Hence, everyone should come forward and volunteerly observe Bundh” he said.
Swaraj Party President K P Sripal said that the public including Shops and Hotels should cooperate. Everyone except the ruling party has declared support.
