Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Friday visited Siddaganga hospital Tumkur to inquire about Siddagangaswameeji’s health.
“I have just met him ( Centenarians seer) in hospital, he is better and is recovering well. There is nothing to worry at this moment,” CM HD Kumaraswamy said after the meeting.
The seer was admitted in the hospital on Friday. According to the medical reports he is suffering from jaundice and with the difficulty of flow of bile juice.
“His condition was stable and not critical. We were aware of his condition and I personally asked him to come over to the hospital for a thorough medical checkup. If he agrees to stay overnight in the hospital, we will do further tests on Saturday. We shall investigate if there are ant stones in the bile duct that’s causing blockage in the liver tube,” said Dr N K Venkataramana, vice chairman of the hospital.
“The seer infact walked into the hospital without any help,” he said.
Dr Adarsh P K, Medical Gastroenterologist said that on Saturday he may have to undergo endoscopy.
“We would conduct either endoscopy or we may have to insert a needle in the liver to clear the block. There are blockages in pancreas, which has led to obstruction in the flow of bile juice to the intestine,” said Dr Adarsh.
Hospital authorities said, ” He is under close medical supervision. Further course of treatment will be decided based on the results of the medical tests, the hospital authorities said.”
The Seer was admitted earlier in the same hospital to treat for low blood pressure, pneumonia and kidney related issues.
