Sara Ali Khan is rehearsing for Simmba song on her birthday

Sara Ali Khan is one busy girl. The newbie, who was all set to make her debut with Kedarnath, will now instead make a foray into Bollywood with Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. And she is ready to stop at nothing to give it her best shot. So much so, that instead of partying away on her birthday, the star kid is sweating it out at dance rehearsals. Yes, you read that right. Sara celebrates her birthday today, on August 12. But if a Hindustan Times report is to be believed, she will be spending the day rehearsing for a song.

The song is for her film, Simmba, in which she stars opposite Ranveer Singh. Now, for a newbie, it must indeed be a pleasure to make a debut with an actor who has been fetching accolades for his performance every year. And hence it is quite commendable that Sara is not taking it lightly. She wants to make the most of the opportunity and wouldn’t let her birthday plans come in the way. Revealing the same, a source has told the paper, “This year, her plans are quite different. Sara, who otherwise rings in her birthday with friends and family, will spend the day rehearsing for a song from her upcoming film. The song that Sara is rehearsing for is an important and big one. Although the makers asked her to take an off for her birthday, she has chosen to continue rehearsing.” Talking about how important the song is to the film and how committed to it Sara has been so far, the source further added, “That’s why she doesn’t want to take a break and change her ‘dance routine’ on her birthday. Sara is really committed to her work, and there’s a lot of excitement. So, she is leaving no stone unturned for her first films.”

We had recently told you how Sara is a livewire on the sets of Simmba and keeps Ranveer and Rohit in splits. Apparently the makers of the film love this side of hers so much so that they have channelled her natural flair for humour into her character in the film as well. Don’t know about you but this makes us quite excited about her debut. And on that note, we would also like to wish the hardworking Sara a very happy birthday.
